What Are The Dates You Want To Bring Your Group?

High Season: January 1st to April 30 and July 1st to August 30th.

Green Season: May to June. September to December 23rd.
Groups are not allowed during eastern week and new year´s eve.

Group Options:
We provide 5 different booking options, where you can choose the number of rooms required and the deposit is accordingly. We are flexible but we have our policies, this will allow us to sell any rooms you won´t need.
(All rates are subject to the CR tax of 13%.)

10 PEOPLE

Groups of 10 are welcomed to book from April until mid December. A group is considered 10 people and it is the minimum we accept. At minimum, you will be billed for 10 people.

What is Included in the Package B:

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED:

NON-REFUNDABLE RETAINER DEPOSITS FOR Package A or B?
Non-Refundable Retainer deposit to hold the retreat week is $4,000.
1st Payment: $2,000 To be paid upon signing of contract.
2nd Payment: $2,000 Due 1 month after signing the contract.
3rd PAYMENT: $5,000 Due 4 months before the start of the retreat
FINAL BALANCE PAYMENT: To be paid 60 days before the retreat starts.

If a retreat leader books package A or B and is not able to fill all the rooms, they may decide to release rooms back to us no later than 90 days before the commencement of the retreat. We will then change the terms of the contract for the use for 10, 15, or 20 people and pricing.

Do you want to make your stay with us more special?

1. Include a Spa Massage for your students.

Our special group rate for our 90-min Signature Massage is $99 per person, and that includes tax. (You will be saving $53.55)

2. Include Gratuities.
Our suggested tipping amount is $20 to $40 a day per person. Choose the amount per person and we will add it to your final bill. Please note that we only accept cash tips. We are unable to process tips through your credit card.

3. Tours. Enjoy Costa Rica.

4. Weekly Smoothie Pass.

Include an unlimited cold press juice/smoothie pass for the week. $69.99 per person

5. Sound bath healing option.

Add a session of Tibetan Bowls, on demand for $300

6. A Special Dinner – Tapas Night with or without wine tasting.

We make 9 to 10 different tapas or “bocas” and turn the yoga studio or gardens (if weather allows it) into a happy atmosphere of eating pleasure including a bonfire. (This is included in package A.)
The upgraded cost for tapas night is $50 a person. If you would like to have wine tasting added, the fee is an additional $40. This includes 4 different wines as we take a journey through these Costa Rican Spanish infused tapas.

7. A Wine Pass.

Bahia del Sol is proud to carry some specialty wines. Invite your students to enjoy a cup of wine each night, on you! $69.99 Just add it to your price.

8. Strengthen Your Immune System.

Multivitamin IV post flight. Provide your body with the vitamins, nutrients, fluids, electrolytes and antioxidants that you need. Enjoy this in the comfort of our hotel groundings while you enjoy an ocean view with a refreshing smoothie. This is the perfect start of your yoga retreat vacation. Cost per person is $160.

SINGLE OCCUPANCY ROOMS

Any room can be used as a single room, except the family suites with two bedrooms. All standard rooms are available for single occupancy for an extra fee of $699. In taking a single room, this will decrease the amount of space available to you. If you know you will need more rooms for single guests, please make sure you request additional room space for your group.

King sun Suite

Deluxe Superior

The King Sun Suite is included in our Package A contract, and the Package B contract includes a Deluxe Superior with bathtub. These are both perfect for a single person looking for space and an upgrade or a couple.

For contracts of 10, 15 or 20 people, you may decide to reserve these deluxe rooms later. The fee for these rooms is $3500 (plus tax) for 1 to 2 people, full board included.

Deposits for a group contract

Here is a payment plan for the deposits.
1st Payment: 10% to be paid upon reserving and signing a contract
2nd Payment: 25% is to be paid 4 months prior to the retreat date
3rd PAYMENT: 25% is to be paid 2 months prior to the retreat date
FINAL BALANCE PAYMENT: To be paid 7 days before the retreat starts.
(The balance must be paid prior to the arrival of participants.)
It is important that all payments and other information are exchanged and agreed to prior to the start of your retreat.
Please remember that an additional bank charge of 5% for all group leaders will be added if for some reason final payment for the group accommodation is made via a credit card.

If a retreat leader books PACKAGE A OR B and is not able to fill all the rooms, they may decide to release rooms back to us no later than 90 days before the commencement of the retreat. If you have a 20 person contract, and only have 10 registrations, you have 90 days before the start of your retreat to communicate any changes. Please, remember if you don’t do this, we will bill you for the entire amount.

CANCELLATION POLICY

The only way that we can successfully fulfill our responsibility to our community, our staff is by ensuring that as many people as possible visit Bahia del Sol. The very real way that this happens is by booking as many guests as possible at Bahia del Sol. And the way that you can help us to achieve this goal is first– by selling out your retreat and second– by recognizing that we will be booking the rooms that are not part of your contract.

We will try to book the rooms that are not part of your contract.

All payments are non-refundable

If you cancel your reservation six months (180 days prior to the scheduled starting date) 50% of any payments already made can be applied to a future reservation. We know this may not work for some people but we want to work with committed and serios yoga teachers.

WHAT IS THE COMPLIMENTARY PACKAGE FOR GROUP LEADERS?

Visit us before your Retreat
Our ideal scene is for you to visit Bahia del Sol before making a final decision. We know you will be able to promote your retreat better if you visit the hotel first. Contact us to arrange for a discounted stay prior to or after signing a contract. This can not be used prior to or after your retreat.

If the group leader prefers a single room rather than sharing with someone else, when available, that would be offered at the single upgrade price of $699, a standard room. Package A includes a private room for the yoga leader.

GROUP LEADER DISCOUNT

With 14 people, you the #15, stays for free.

More than 20 people, you receive a 60 minute spa massage.

For groups of 20 or more paying guests, your assistant/second instructor receives a 50% discount.

THE RESPONSABILITIES OF THE YOGA LEADER

You have some responsibilities we expect you to fulfill in order for your week to be a complete success.

1. Please get all payments to us on time.

2. What time should my students plan on leaving on the day of Check-Out?
Check-in is at 3 pm. Lunch is not included on the first day.
Check-out is at 11am. Breakfast is included on your last morning.

3. What meal times do you prefer?
Meals will include breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. Meals times are recommended as follows:
* 7:00 am Fruits and seeds, coffee and teas (Pre-Yoga)
* 9:30 am Breakfast (Post-Yoga)
* 1:00 pm Lunch
* 7:00 pm Dinner

4. You will need to approve the meals.

You need to approve the menu before coming, at least three weeks prior. If we do not receive an email confirmation, we will assume you are happy with our menu options.

Remind your guests of what we offer. The more you can do this, the easier it will be to manage people’s expectations when they arrive. The worst thing that can happen is that people will arrive expecting that we serve meat every meal. (If you do want meat every meal, please ask for our options.)

5. We will promote your yoga retreat on our website.

We will need the following information:

• The title of your retreat.
• A tagline for your retreat: What will your students get from going on your retreat.
• A key photo for your retreat: What is the one picture you want to use that will embody the promotion for your retreat. It could be one of you. (High resolution photos are ideal.)
• When is your retreat: This should include what time the retreat starts and what time it finishes.
• A brief description: The most important thing here is the value someone will receive from coming on your retreat with you.
• The cost: This might include any discounts offered for early registration.
• What is included in the Retreat.
• How to register: This will bring them back to your website with the link for the info or email.
• Any testimonials: We can add one or two testimonials from your students. The above formula can also be used for you in building your own retreat page on your website.
