Tours for the lovers of the sea
- Scuba diving at the Las Catalinas island
Dive close to the Catalina Island. These Islands are a series of rocky outcrops 2-8 miles from the coast. The islands originate from volcanoes and rise up from a sandy bottom about 60 - 120 feet deep, they are host to many species of marine life including the Giant Manta Rays, Stingrays, Sharks, Moray Eels, Barracudas, Sea Turtles and a variety of colorful tropical fish.

Eco-Tours for nature lovers
- Palo Verde Boat Tour & Guaitil Pottery Village
Enjoy a boat ride on the Tempisque River, which is a part of Palo Verde National Park. This wildlife sanctuary protects the lower river basin, where the mangroves, marshes and seasonally flooded fields provide ideal conditions for resident and migratory waterfowl, crocodiles, iguanas and scarlet macaws. The tropical dry forest and mangroves are home to capuchin monkeys.
The 2-hour boat ride on the Tempisque, Costa Rica’s largest river, is a most rewarding experience for anyone interested in nature.
Continue to Santa Cruz, the folkloric city of Guanacaste for a city tour. You will also visit the Guaitil artisan village, known for its indigenous Chorotega style handcrafted pottery, replicas of pre-Columbian objects. Artisans will show you the processes their ancestors used to make this pottery.

- Santa Rosa National Park UNESCO – World Heritage Site
The National Park, with its 50,000 ha of coastline, forest and savannah, protects numerous species of flora and fauna, including 253 species of birds, among them magpie jays, trogons, orange-breast parakeets and black hawks and 115 mammal species like howler and capuchin monkeys, white-tailed deer and peccary.
Santa Rosa protects a large extension of tropical dry forest as well as savannah, swamps and mangroves and is part of the Guanacaste Conservation Area, a World Heritage Site since 1999.
The Park was established to commemorate the battle that took place in 1856 when troops of filibusters tried to enslave Costa Rica. Currently there’s an old hacienda house, which is where the filibusters took shelter during the short battle, it features a small museum.

- Rincon de la Vieja National Park
Rincon de la Vieja is comprised of a remote volcanic complex. Fumaroles, bubbling mud pots, miniature volcanoes, natural hot springs, dry forest, rivers and waterfalls are just some of the many attractions you may enjoy during a visit to this park. The park's biodiversity is its main attraction, it is known for its profusion of orchid species and many birds and animals inhabit the slopes of the volcano, among them toucan, the elegant trogon, eagles and curassow. Animals you may encounter are coatis, agoutis, howler and capuchin monkeys.

- Monteverde Cloudforest Reserve
Located high in the Tilarán Mountain Range at an altitude of 4300 ft above sea level, Monteverde is true a paradise for researchers and nature lovers alike. The tour consists of a complex series of suspended bridges, platforms and paths that will allow you to visit the canopy of this misty, magical cloud forest. The 1.9 mile of trails will take you through the forest; along them you will find eight bridges. The bridges are between 170-560 feet in length and 40-260 feet in heights. Join us on the Canopy Tour, gliding from tree to another, visit the hummingbird gallery and butterfly garden.

- Sea Turtle Nesting
Follow the tracks of the turtles and experience the excitement as you see them crawling toward the beach to put their eggs in Playa Grande, one of the few beaches that remain for the nesting of the gigantic leather back sea turtles.

Canopy Tour
A true must for the adventurous visitor, this activity guarantees you a lot of fun and excitement. The canopy tour is located in a tropical dry forest, you are invited to enter the forest canopy and see jungle life from a unique and different perspective. The tour consists of gliding along steel cables from tree to tree using the best quality pulleys and climbing gear.

Surf lessons

Buena Vista Hot Springs & Canopy
Hike through the rainforest to the Canopy Tour and experience the thrill of a lifetime! The tour is guided by specialized Canopy-guides who will join you during the 1.5 hour trip through the tree tops. Refresh yourself in the 425 meter long waterslide that will take you down near the restaurant. Continue to the hot springs, you may get there by horseback riding, walking or on a horse-drawn carriage. After so much adventure relax in the warm waters and enjoy a volcanic mud treatment.

In Costa Rica the Blue Flag Ecological Program was created in response to the imminent dangers of beach pollution, its repercussions on public health and the tourism industry. In 2008 the hotel started working hard to get the recognition for Potrero Beach and would like to invite you and your family to clean the beach with us and recycle all materials found.

All services must be prepaid in order to guarantee availability.
Cancellations are effective on the day notice is received via phone, fax or e-mail by our staff during office hours.
Every cancellation of services paid by credit card will be subject to a 5% administration fee of the total amount paid.
Any cancellation is regrettable, but since a significant part of our expenses are committed long before departure, our cancellation policies are firm. In the event that you must cancel your booking, you will be charged as follows:
Tours, Transportation Services and Excursions

Cancellations received more than 48 hours before tour departure will have no charge for clients except for credit card payments that will get a 5% administration fee of the total amount paid.

Cancellations received between 24-48 hours prior tour departure will get a 50% refund of the total amount paid, less 5% administration fee in the case of payments done by credit card.

If you cancel less than 24 hours prior to your tour departure, it is considered as a “No Show”. There are no refunds available for “No Show” reservations. There are no refunds available for “No Show” reservations. Being late, not at departure or meeting point, or if you miss the transfer completely is considered as “No Show”, and no refund apply. Maximum waiting time on the pick up point is 10 minutes.
IMPORTANT: Special cancellation policies may apply for Sport Fishing and tours to
Nicaragua.
