Palo Verde is a wildlife sanctuary that protects the low watershed, where mangroves, swamps and seasonally flooded fields provide the ideal conditions for resident and migratory waterfowl, as well as crocodiles, macaws and monkeys.
This experience will include a visit to Guaitil an artisan town, famous for its native Chorotega ceramic art, which replicate pre-Columbian objects.

A boat ride along the Tempisque River, part of Palo Verde National Park will allow you to admire the unique natural environment and its wildlife. During this tour, you will have the opportunity to feed monkeys that usually accompany the boat, for an exciting experience.
